Warsaw Plan Commission Monday approved preliminary and final plats for a two-lot commercial subdivision in Warsaw.
Petitioners John and Dan Rice requested the plats for Rice Addition at the northeast corner of CR 250N and Ind. 15.
The brothers, who own the property, requested to split the existing lot into two lots.
The first lot will have access from a 50-foot ingress and egress easement, and the second lot will have access from CR 250N.
The brothers will continue to operate Rice Ford on the north half of the property, and a new Toyota dealership will be built on the south half of the property.
Planners said there must be an additional 10 feet of right of way from the centerline along the north side of CR 250N.
Planners are Tom Allen, Tammy Dalton, Lacy Francis, Jim Gast, Jeff Grose, Rick Keeven, Joe Thallemer and Jeremy Skinner.
Commissioners will meet again Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. at city hall.
