Warsaw Plan Commission Monday failed to approve a request for a final plat for Park Ridge Subdivision. The request was from Warsaw Development LLC to create 22 new residential lots from the original 7.15 acres. Commission members Jim Gast, Jeff Grose and Tom Allen voted in favor of the plat. Commission members Rick Keeven, Dave Baumgartner and Jeff Beeler voted against the final plat. Mike Klondaris, commission member, was absent. A fourth vote was needed for the motion on the final plat to be approved or denied. Beeler, Keeven and Baumgartner felt the plat should include a cul de sac to make it easier for the street department to do snow removal and trash pickup. Warsaw Development LLC will have the opportunity to present another petition to the commission at a later time. The commission tabled a request from Burkhart, a sign company, to display a sign above Giverny Fitness Studio on Buffalo Street. No representatives attended from the sign company, according to Jeremy Skinner, city planner. The commission approved a preliminary and final plat request from Indiana American Water to create two new industrial lots at 2700 E. Durbin St.
