Continuously serving Kosciusko County since 1854
The Warsaw Middle School bands invite the community to a festive Winter Concert Monday at the Lakeview Middle School auditorium.
The performance begins at 7 p.m., and admission is free. Guests are encouraged to bring canned food donations to support local families during the holiday season, according to a news release from Warsaw Community Schools.
The evening of music will feature performances by the sixth- and seventh-grade beginning band, which includes sixth-graders from all Warsaw elementary schools, along with the combined Edgewood and Lakeview seventh- and eighth-grade bands. Audiences will enjoy seasonal favorites such as “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” “Jolly Old St. Nicholas,” “O Little Town of Bethlehem,” “Jingle Jam” and “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” performed by the jazz band. The concert will conclude with an arrangement of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.”
Adding to the evening, Mr. and Mrs. Claus will make an appearance.
The Warsaw Middle School bands are under the direction of Joseph Peloza.
