Warsaw Meijer Begins Hiring for More Than 200 Jobs

Meijer announced recently that it will soon begin hiring for its new Warsaw and Portage stores, both opening in early summer. Meijer is looking to fill more than 500 full- and part-time positions, including more than 200 in Warsaw. The Warsaw store is slated in open in late June. Interviews are already underway for the Portage location. The Grand Rapids, Mich.-based retailer is seeking to fill positions in all departments from clerks and cake decorators to utility workers, meat cutters and more. Starting pay will be based on experience level and specific skills. Potential candidates for Warsaw and Portage should begin the hiring process by applying online at www.meijer.jobs The job listings appeared on Meijer’s website several weeks ago but were not announced publically until Friday. Meijer leadership will conduct phone interviews during the next few weeks. Selected candidates will then be contacted to schedule an in-person interview.
