A Warsaw man was injured Tuesday when a car pulled out in front of his mo-ped at the intersection of Union and Fort Wayne streets.
Around 11:14 a.m. Tuesday, Kenneth J. Morgan, 30, of Pike Street, Warsaw, was riding his mo-ped when a car driven by Nona J. McFarren, 77, Oak Lane, Warsaw, allegedly pulled out in front of him.
Morgan hit the rear door of the car and fell over the right rear tire of the vehicle. Morgan's right hand, arm and shoulder were run over by the car's tire. According to the crash report filed at the Warsaw Police Department, the tire tread was visible on Morgan's forearm.
Morgan suffered injuries to his leg in the crash as well. He was taken by police to Kosciusko Community Hospital for treatment.
Damage from the accident is estimated to be between $2,500 and $5,000.
