A Warsaw man is being held at the Kosciusko County Jail after a freelance computer repairman discovered child pornography on his computer.
Adam C. Snyder, 28, of 115 EMS B48 Lane, was arrested Friday afternoon on charges of child exploitation following an investigation by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.
According to the probable cause affidavit from the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office, a repairman contacted KCSD Tuesday after he discovered apparent child pornography depicting naked children while transfering a hard drive from one computer to another.
While investigating, KCSD immediately recognized child pornography and delivered the computer to the U.S. Secret Service for forensic examination. The Secret Service discovered photos and videos of adult men having sexual intercourse with infant children.
Upon serving the search warrant for the home of Snyder, KCSD recovered CDs, DVDs, flash drives, a cell phone and iPod for future examination.
Snyder admitted to possessing child pornography and it being illegal. He also was aware of if being on the hard drive when he gave it to the computer repairman.
Snyder is being held at the Kosciusko County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
