A Warsaw man is in Kosciusko County Jail today following an early morning rollover accident on the city's west side.
James F. Koser, 24, of 730 E. Winona Ave., Apt. 3, Warsaw, was preliminarily charged for driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and public intoxication.
Authorities report that Koser was driving his car south in the 800 block of North Lake Street just before 3 a.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve.
Warsaw police report that after leaving the road Koser's car hit a telephone booth and rolled over onto its top, coming to rest in a parking lot.
Koser allegedly attempted to walk from the scene but was stopped and questioned by a WPD patrol. Upon questioning, police report, he admitted to driving the car.
The accident remains under investigation.
