A 58-year-old Warsaw resident was arrested Wednesday on felony charges of criminal confinement and sexual misconduct with a minor. The sexual misconduct with a minor charge may be amended to child molestation.
Rodney I. Fuller, 115 Sophie Lane, Warsaw, was arrested on a warrant obtained through the Kosciusko County Prosecutor's Office. He was booked at 8:16 p.m. Wednesday.
Around 9 p.m. Tuesday, the Warsaw Police Department responded to a call about a sexual battery to a 10-year-old girl in an apartment complex in Warsaw. The girl was playing with a group of friends but got separated from them.
Fuller allegedly picked the girl up, carried her to a nearby apartment and fondled her.
Although the girl did not know Fuller, she gave police specific information that led to Fuller's arrest.
The incident remains under unvestigation. Fuller is being held on $5,000 bond.
