A Warsaw man was arrested Monday afternoon on charges of possession of crack cocaine. Kevin L. Bronson, 54, of 1506 Tippecanoe Drive #2, Warsaw, was taken into custody and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on a class D felony charge of possession of cocaine, with a $2,000 bond. According to a press release from Warsaw Police Department, on Monday at approximately noon, Warsaw Police were dispatched to the west side of Warsaw near Tippecanoe and Hepler drives for a report of a suspicious man in red clothing acting strangely. Police arrived in the area when another call to dispatch advised a man in red was jumping fences behind Purity Cylinder near Dot Street, which is a few blocks south of the original call. Police located the suspect on Dot Street and found him to have trouble following simple instructions. The suspect, identified as Bronson, was sweating profusely, agitated and making statements that did not make sense, police say. Officers located a pill bottle with the suspect’s name containing what appeared to be crack cocaine. The substance tested positive for cocaine. Warsaw Police were assisted by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.
