Almost a year after a warrant for his arrest was granted, Steve W. Nine, 55, of 2917 W. CR 150S, Warsaw, was arrested on methamphetamine charges.
At 12:26 a.m. Saturday, Warsaw Police Department officers stopped Nine for failing to signal a turn at the corner of Washington Street and Winona Avenue.
Nine had outstanding warrants for dealing in methamphetamine less than 3 grams, a Class B felony, and possession of methamphetamine less than 3 grams, a Class D felony. The warrants were filed Nov. 30.
Both warrants stemmed from a Nov. 12 incident where Warsaw police officer Paul Heaton said in a probable cause affidavit that Nine knowingly sold methamphetamine. In addition, Heaton stated that Nine was in possession of methamphetamines.
Nine is being held in the Kosciusko County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
