Posted
Warsaw Police were called multiple times on Friday and Saturday about a man stalking his wife.

Tad Hayes, 32, of 1825 Rieder St., Warsaw, was arrested Saturday morning at 8:48 a.m. after Hayes’ wife called police for the third time in two days about her husband harrassing her.

Hayes, who is separated from his wife, was reportedly at her home on Heron Boulvard late Friday night. Warsaw Police Departmnt Public Information Officer  Kip Shuter said that WPD officers were called around midnight Friday for Hayes disturbing his wife.

Hayes was reportedly banging on his wife’s door and standing outside her bedroom window.  Police were called a seond time and cited Hayes for tresspassing, because there was no protective order in place.

Shuter said that Hayes “repeatedly showed up at his wife’s house.”

Saturday morning WPD recieved another call stating that Hayes was following his wife on Ind. 15 N, near Walmart.
WPD officers pulled Hayes over near Detroit and Main streets and arrested Hayes for stalking, a Class D felony.

Shuter said the cause of the dispute might be that Hayes and his wife had a previous arrangement on visitation hours with the two children that weekend, but Hayes’ wife changed her mind, according to police reports.
