A Warsaw man accused of inappropriately touching a 14-year-old girl was acquitted Wednesday in Kosciusko Circuit Court at the conclusion of a two-day trial.
Alan E. Earl, 32, was charged with sexual misconduct with a minor, a Class C felony, after accusations were made regarding a Dec. 30, 1999, incident at Earl's house.
The six-man, six-woman jury deliberated about six hours before returning its verdict of not guilty.
Jay Rigdon of Rockhill Pinnick LLP was Earl's attorney in the case.
