Warsaw 12-year-old Alli Morse will serve as the official Riley Coin Toss Kid during the Indianapolis Colts season home opener against the Oakland Raiders. Morse will find herself at the 50 yard line of Lucas Oil Stadium Sept. 8 at 1 p.m., This will be Morse’s first Colts game. Morse was diagnosed with juvenile pilocystic astrocytoma at the age of 9. Her vision had been deteriorating and an MRI revealed a mass on her optic nerve. Since then, Morse has been through radiation and chemotherapy. Due to complications from her tumors, Morse lost most of her vision two years ago and has been learning braille ever since. She has remained brave throughout her struggle and always has a smile on her face. She loves to swim, play games, go for walks, spend time with her family and hang out with her friends. Morse and her family will receive four tickets, limousine transportation to Lucas Oil Stadium and hotel accommodations from the Riley Children’s Foundation. She will receive an autographed Colts photo and a personalized Colts jersey. She also will take part in the coin toss alongside National Football League referees and captains from each team. Morse will be joined by fellow Riley Hospital patient Alexis Knight, Crown Point, for the coin toss. The opportunity is made possible through a partnership between Riley Hospital for Children and the Indianapolis Colts. Annually, nearly 5,000 Riley Hospital patient visits involve families from Kosciusko and surrounding counties.
