A Warsaw couple were airlifted after a Tuesday afternoon accident between a mo-ped and car behind Owen’s east. Jimmy Lisenbee, 54, and Tracy Lisenbee, 36, both of Warsaw, were on their mo-ped when they collided with a Buick at the intersection of Harrison and Fort Wayne streets, between the Owen’s shopping plaza and Sacred Heart Catholic School, shortly before 4 p.m. Tuesday. Both Lisenbees were airlifted to Parkview North in Fort Wayne where Jimmy is listed in stable condition this morning, according to his sister Peggi Lisenbee-Wright. Jimmy suffered from a broken foot, ankle and ribs and may require surgery. His wife, Tracy, was treated for abrasions and released. An official police report has yet to be filed as of this morning and damage estimates and the name of the person driving the Buick also was not available. Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory Multi-Township EMS, Samaritan and Warsaw Police Department all responded.
