Warsaw Community Schools Announces 2013-14 Meal Prices

Nutritious meals that meet specific nutrient guidelines are served every school day. A complete lunch includes protein, grains, fruits, vegetables and milk. Choices within each category are available daily from which students can select a complete lunch. A complete lunch must have three to five components of which one must be a fruit or vegetable on their tray. A la carte pricing applies when a complete meal is not chosen. Breakfast and lunch will be available each school day at the following rates: • Breakfast, all grades $1.25 paid, $0.25 reduced, $1.60 adult • Elementary lunch, $2.25 paid, $0.40 reduced, $3.25 adult • Middle school lunch, $2.50 paid, $0.40 reduced, $3.25 adult • Middle school salad bar, $2.75 paid, $0.40 reduced, $3.50 adult • Secondary lunch, $2.60 paid, $0.40 reduced, $3.25 adult • Secondary salad bar, $2.85 paid, $0.40 reduced, $3.50 adult. Milk is included with meal purchase, with a la carte prices charged if purchased separately. A la carte milk is $0.50 for kindergarten to 12th grade, paid, free and reduced. Free and Reduced meal prices apply to one breakfast and one lunch daily per student. Subsequent meals purchased the same day will be charged at the paid meal price.
