Warsaw Commons will be home to another store by the end of the year. Thompson Thrift, the owners of the Warsaw Commons shopping plaza that includes Kohl’s, announced Friday afternoon that it had reached a lease agreement with Kay Jewelers. A spokesperson for Thompson Thrift said they expect the jewelry store to open in the fall along with PetSmart, Shoe Carnival, Ulta Beauty Salon and TJ Maxx. The 2,000-square-foot Kay Jewelers leaves about 10,400 square feet in Warsaw Commons. Kay Jewelers signed a 10-year lease Friday. Letters of intent with other outlets and stores are in the works, according to the spokesperson, but nothing will be announced until plans are finalized. Thompson Thrift is a full-service real estate development and construction company with offices in Terre Haute, Indianapolis and Carmel.
