The Warsaw Board of Zoning appeals will look at several requests during its regular meeting Monday.
The board will review the following items:
Rick Weed, 504 E. Baker St., requests a use variance for a waste removal facility in an R-1 district. Weed, who operates Weed Septic Tank Service Inc., received Indiana Department of Environmental Management permits to install two 1,000-gallon wastewater tanks in October 1999. One was to be above ground, the other below. Instead, two 3,000-gallon tanks were installed below ground.
The waste, from septic tanks, drains, manholes, etc., is discharged into the city's wastewater treatment pipes after pretreatment. He is charged for his use.
Mark Snyder, 2500 Glad St., is asking to open a day care center in a R-1 district. Day care centers are permitted in R-2 and R-3 districts, not R-1. Snyder operates other day care centers.
A request by Connie Rufenbarger, 1131 Country Club Drive, for a variance from development standards for a 12-foot, 9-inch setback for a new residence along a lake shore.
A use variance request by Matthew Johnson, 427 E. Fort Wayne St., for a professional office in an R-2 district.
Johnson operates a chiropractic clinic at this address and wants to convert an upstairs apartment into office space.
A request by Mark Marley representing Network Computer Solutions, 940 N. Detroit St., for a special exception in an I-3 district for a wireless communications facilty.
Aaron Delinger, DDS, 841 S. Union St., requests a use variance to establish a dentist's office in an R-1 district.
The Mennonite Church of Warsaw, 1250 Husky Trail, is asking for an additional 32-square-foot freestanding sign, a variance from developmental standards.
The BZA will meet in the city hall's council chambers at 7 p.m. Monday.
