Veterans Support Mullen

SOUTH BEND – Brendan Mullen’s campaign for Congress Thursday announced its coalition of veterans Mullen served with and veterans of both parties who support Mullen’s values.

Since serving in the Army, Mullen has helped start small businesses, employing veterans and providing advocacy for veterans and their families.

Today, Mullen named fellow West Point alumnus and Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran Chad Gibson as his veterans’ coalition co-chair.
Gibson is also featured in a new ad challenging Mullen’s Tea Party opponent Jackie Walorski.

“Brendan and I both served in the Army and in Iraq because we believe in standing up and fighting for what’s right,” Gibson said. “When I saw Jackie Walorski get desperate and try to smear Brendan’s military record when he put his life on the line and when she spent her career as a politician, I had to say something – she’s wrong, her smear tactics and negativity are wrong, these are not the values we share, and Hoosiers deserve better.”

“I am proud and honored to have Chad as the co-chair of this campaign’s veterans’ coalition,” said Brendan Mullen. “Our Hoosier values, standing up for good jobs and a commitment to the promises we’ve made to our veterans is what we need to see more of and why I am running.”
