About 20 county residents awoke New Year's Eve morning to find their vehicles' windows shattered overnight, while they slept.
Vehicles all over the county, though primarily in Warsaw, had windows broken out, though nothing was stolen from any of the cars. The area hardest hit by the window bashings was Chapman Lake Drive, with at least four vehicle windows broken.
Kosciusko County Sheriff Aaron Roverstine said the sheriff's department currently has no leads, but they do believe the same person or persons are responsible for all the incidents because they are so similar.
A similar string of crimes occurred about two years ago in the Warsaw area, Rovenstine also said.
