U.S. 30 Lane Restrictions over Deeds Creek Announced

Indiana Department of Transportation announced that eastbound U.S. 30 is intermittently restricted on the bridge over Deeds Creek, between CR 250E and Van Ness Road between Warsaw and Pierceton. INDOT is performing proactive maintenance on the bridge. Drivers should be aware of traffic controls, including arrowboards, barrels and cones while the work is in progress. The work is expected to be complete by end of the day on Friday, weather permitting. The work is part of a multi-location bridge maintenance contract, with work taking place in upcoming weeks throughout the INDOT Fort Wayne District. The contract was awarded to Pioneer, based on the low bid of $196,000. INDOT reminds drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a construction zone.
