Two vehicles were stolen from the Petro Brothers lot on Ind. 15N, Warsaw, Monday, according to a Warsaw Police Department report.
Reported missing were a silver 2001 Jeep Cherokee four-door SUV valued at $24,000 and an emerald green 1995 Dodge Neon four-door valued at $2,500.
According to the report, Petro Brothers owner Steve Petro plowed snow off the lot Sunday until midnight and then returned Monday at 5 a.m. to plow more. While he was plowing, Petro noticed that the vehicles were missing. Because the lot was plowed, police could not determine which way the vehicles left the lot.
There were several footprints, but tread patterns were not visible in the snow.
