A man and his girlfriend were taken to the hospital Sunday night to be treated for smoke inhalation after their mobile home caught fire. According to Claypool Fire Chief Bob Haines, the department was dispatched to 101 Warner Dr., No. 11, Claypool, around 10:45 p.m. Sunday. The mobile home caught fire after an electrical short, though Haines said there was minimal damage and the fire was under control in 10 minutes. The tenant, Franklin Wright, and his girlfriend were transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
