Two From Warsaw Injured In Monday Crash On U.S. 30

More information on Monday morning’s wreck on U.S. 30 at Fox Farm Road in Warsaw reveal two people were sent to the hospital. First responders were called at 9:14 a.m. Monday to the intersection of West U.S. 30 and North Fox Farm Road for a van-car collision. Brian D. Wallen, 57, Paxton Drive, Warsaw, was the driver of an Explorer Van and was traveling south on Fox Farm Road. Michael E. Garee, 68, West CR 600N, Warsaw, was driving a 2002 Nissan Sentra, traveling east on U.S. 30 when, according to the police report, Wallen ran the stop sign at the intersection and collided with Garee’s car. Both men were taken by ambulance to an area hospital to be evaluated for complaints of pain to their entire bodies, according to the report. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office estimates damage from the wreck is between $25,000 to $50,000.
