TVSC Holds Board Organizational MeetingOn Monday, Tippecanoe Valley School Corp. held its annual board organizational meeting. The board organizational meeting is an annual requirement to reorganize the board, swear in any new or returning elected board members, select officers, set meeting dates and times, appoint a corporation treasurer and organize the board of finance. Lacey Wise and Tom Bauters took the oath of office and were sworn in as new board members for TVSC, with Todd Hoffman sworn in as a returning board member. The board of school trustees approved the following board officers for 2019: Adam Heckaman, president; Aaron Zolman, vice president; and Tom Bauters, secretary. Jessica McFarland was unanimously appointed the treasurer for 2019. The regular school board meetings are scheduled for the third Monday of the month at 6 p.m. The meeting location will be posted on the school corporation’s website and at the administration building.
