SYRACUSE - Jonathan Trojan has been named the valedictorian and Paul Strycker the salutatorian of the Wawasee High School class of 2001.
Trojan, the son of Eric and Holly Trojan, of Syracuse, has been active in the Amy Vanlaningham Society, band, Computer Club, Hoosier Academic Super Bowl, Key Club, National Honor Society and Syracuse Vineyard Christian Fellowship and youth group. He plans to attend Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and study chemical engineering.
Strycker, the son of Doug and Helen Ann Strycker, of Milford, was in Academic Super Bowl, Jazz Band, Marching Band, Milford Christian Church, National Honor Society and the Wawasee Television production studio. He plans to attend the University of Notre Dame and major in physics.
Wawasee High School's graduation date is May 25 in the high school's gym.
