Tri Kappa’s March Community Outreach meeting was held at The Gathering Place, 223 S Buffalo St., Warsaw, where members learned more about the impactful work of Fellowship Missions.
Following the chapter meeting, Eric Lane, executive director of Fellowship Missions, shared the organization’s history, impact and vision for the future.
The Gathering Place is a safe, welcoming space designed to break the stigma surrounding recovery. Whether you’re seeking support, quiet reflection, or social connection, it’s open to all.
By fostering collaboration among local organizations, The Gathering Place serves as a centralized hub for recovery and mental health support, providing access to resources, support groups and on-site programming that help individuals stay connected to a healthy recovery community.
Lane shared that Fellowship Missions offers safe shelter, life skills programing, and comprehensive addiction recovery and mental health support. They provide a welcoming space for unhoused individuals and families, meeting immediate needs for safety, warmth and meals while offering compassionate care. Beyond basic needs, their team delivers personalized support to help residents build a foundation for lasting change and empowering individuals to take meaningful steps toward long-term independence.”
The Tri Kappa Alpha Lambda chapter was proud to present a check to support these efforts. Tri Kappa women enjoyed touring the wonderful space, learning the history of the building itself. The Gathering Place offers an inviting, open and relaxing space on the main floor, office and meeting spaces upstairs and boasts bright and inviting makers spaces downstairs.
