Because of the expected excessive heat later this week, the city of Warsaw will shift its garbage collection on Thursday and Friday by two hours.
Instead of collecting trash from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., the shift will run from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m., said public works superintendent Kim Leake.
As a result, the city is asking residents to place trash outside by 5 a.m.
