A Monday night traffic stop has a Syracuse woman facing various drug charges.
Indiana State Trooper Luke Waikel stopped Faith Ranae Wilkinson, 34, of 201 E. Greenhaus Drive, Syracuse, for speeding around 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of CR 175E and Center Street extended.
The suspicious nature of the vehicle led Waikel to call the Warsaw Police Department. WPD K-9 Officer Allen Danko's dog indicated there were drugs in Wilkinson's vehicle.
A search turned up a small amount of methamphetamine, a small quantity of a controlled substance narcotic, precursors and paraphernalia associated with the manufacture of methamphetamine.
Wilkinson was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on a $2,000 bond, charged with possession of precursors for methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia. She has since bonded out.
The Indiana State Police was assisted in the case by the Warsaw Police Department.
