Tim Zimmerman and the King’s Brass will appear in concert at the Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church on Friday, Aug. 7 at 7 p.m.
Tim Zimmerman and The King's Brass present hymn classics with a contemporary flair, according to a provided news release.
The King's Brass features three trumpets, three trombones, a tuba, percussion and keyboards. These instruments blend together to create a time of innovative worship that will be enjoyed by all generations.
Secular and sacred music critics alike applaud their concerts as "superb in every way" and "innovative and well played,” according to the news release.
The King’s Brass, formed over four decades ago in Detroit, is comprised of professional musicians from across the country, who desire to use the instruments they love to lead others in praise and worship. Based out of Fort Wayne, the group plays over 150 concerts per year from coast to coast as well as international destinations. This year, The King’s Brass celebrates its 48th anniversary season.
This ticketed event is being brought to the community by the newly formed Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church Fine Arts department, headed by Jordan Fredericks. The release states “WEPC desires to be connected to the community through the fine arts and is developing a program and a space for the arts to grow and thrive in the greater Warsaw area. You are invited to join in this spectacular inaugural event kicking off a season of performances that prove to be entertaining and delightful.”
