Warsaw Tiger football and basketball fans will have to set up a new preset on their radios.

WRSW news director Roger Grossman took to Facebook this morning to announce that 102.7 The Fan out of Ligioner was joining the Talking Stick Communications family.

That includes 107.3 WRSW, Wille 103.5 and ESPN 1480.

The Fan switched formats in early June from music to sports talk.

The station is owned by Federated Media.

Clint Marsh, general manager of Talking Stick Communications, said The Fan studios are moving to Warsaw this week and that the move should be completed by Wednesday.

The move also has generated three new sales positions for the company.

“As we move studios into the building this week, you’ll be able to hear local news, sports and weather,” said Marsh. “We’re really turning this into a Kosciusko County sports station.”

The website of The Fan has already been changed to reflect the new local teams.

The station also features syndicated programming from Jim Rome and Dan Patrick.

This Saturday, Tiger Talk and On Board With The Vikings will debut on The Fan.

Tiger football, as well as boys and girls basketball for Warsaw, will be featured on The Fan rather than 107.3 or 1480.

Indianapolis Colts football also will be aired on The Fan.
