Posted

WINONA LAKE – A new chapter is beginning for the Winona Lake Senior Center with the introduction of its new name and identity: The Willow at Winona.
More than just a rebrand, The Willow at Winona reflects a renewed commitment to creating a welcoming and vibrant space where adults aged 60 and better can connect, grow and thrive, according to a provided news release. Inspired by the strength, grace and deep roots of a willow tree, the center’s new identity represents its mission to foster connection, purpose and joyful living during this meaningful stage of life rooted in faith and fellowship.
The Willow at Winona offers a place where older adults can gather, build lasting friendships, remain active and continue growing in purpose. Through engaging programs, shared meals, service opportunities and meaningful relationships, the center aims to be a steady and uplifting presence in the community, the release states.
Programming at The Willow includes opportunities for fellowship, educational enrichment, wellness activities, volunteer engagement and community outreach — all within a warm and encouraging environment. The center is dedicated to honoring the wisdom, experience and value of older adults while strengthening connections across generations.
