The Grossnickle Foundation, a component fund held at the Kosciusko County Community Foundation, recently donated $1,500 to Edgewood Middle School to support the Together We Feed Them All initiative.
Together We Feed Them All is a Warsaw Community Schools food-drive program that collects donations to provide boxed meals for families in need, especially during school breaks when access to school meals is limited.
“Our support for Together We Feed Them All comes from a shared commitment to ensuring children and families have reliable access to food during school breaks. It is a simple yet powerful way to help reduce food insecurity in our community,” said Dr. Colin Ridenour, co-owner, Grossnickle Eye Center.
In addition to supporting the Together We Feed Them All Initiative, The Grossnickle Foundation recently supported 26 organizations with donations totaling $31,000.
The Grossnickle Foundation was created by funds from Doctors Paul, Steve and Bruce Grossnickle with the purpose of giving back to the communities that gave them so much. Grossnickle Eye Center employees can contribute to the fund through payroll deduction and can nominate nonprofits to receive grants from the fund.
