TG's Diversifying Offerings With Gelatos And Custards

Many companies say the road to success includes offering a diverse line of products.
The co-owners of Jimmy John’s and TG’s are taking that to heart by expanding the offerings at TG’s.
“We’re now serving Gelatos and custards. Gelato is made with just milk so there’s less fat than the typical ice cream and it intensifies the flavors,” said co-owner Logan Todd. “Some people refer to it as a premium ice cream.”
TG’s will continue to have its assorted flavors of frozen yogurts. “We wanted to add an option for those people who are scared away by yogurt,” Todd said.
The frozen dessert business has a dozen options of flavors, but now customers can choose from Gelatos, custards, frozen yogurt and non-dairy sorbet.
“All flavors will continue to rotate and change. We’ll usually get one to two flavors every week or so,” Todd stated.
The variety of toppings will still be available, he noted.
“We just wanted to have something for everyone. People who want ice cream, they want ice cream. We want to make sure people have options. The name yogurt scares some people away,” he said.
Co-owner Josh Grannell said, “The biggest thing we wanted to do is diversify ourselves and branch out. No other place in Warsaw offers these three things. Customers definitely have the option to indulge or choose healthy. We also have many toppings to choose from.”
TG’s, 1991 N. Detroit St., Warsaw, opened in May 2013. Hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
