Test And Tune Event Raises $700 For Riley Hospital For Children

A Test and Tune event at Kosciusko County Fairgrounds raised more than $700 for Riley Hospital For Children. Nathan Terrel, owner of Country Boys Diesel, North Manchester, organized the event. Terrel loves diesel trucks and held a diesel truck show fundraiser at the Kosciusko County Fair Grounds during the event April 27, which raised $710. A check in this amount was presented to Susan Findlay, Kosciusko County leader, on behalf of Riley Children’s Foundation, May 14. The gift will be directed to the Suzanne L. Bowyer, M.D. Endowment Memorial Fund for Pediatric Rheumatology. Terrel expressed his appreciation for all that Riley did for him when he was a Riley “kid” from age 10-18. He is now 25. He had uveitis, arthritis of the eyes. Dr. Suzanne Bowyer, now deceased, was his doctor. He said he saw children there who were so much worse off than he was and is so grateful he can give back to help other kids.
