A Milford teen-ager was injured Sunday when she struck a fence while driving a four-wheeler on private property.
Jamie Sue Brace, 14, of North CR 200W, suffered swelling to her throat and was treated at Kosciusko Community Hospital and released, according to Trooper Brooks Shirk of the Indiana State Police.
Shirk said Brace was riding on a dirt trail at a residence on the south side of CR 300N at Hoffman Lake when she lost control of the all-terrain vehicle while rounding a curve. She then struck a fence and a wire struck her in the throat.
