Continuously serving Kosciusko County since 1854
After almost a week, 19-year-old Ryan R. Utter, North CR 650E, Rochester, died Saturday at 8:22 p.m. at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
On Jan. 27, Utter was southbound on Beaver Dam Road near Burket when he went off the east side of the road for an unknown reason. His car went into a bean field, where it rolled over several times, according to a previous Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department press release.
Utter was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from his car during the accident. He suffered head injuries and was found unconscious at the scene.
