WINONA LAKE - Wine tasting and food sampling are all a part of this year's "Taste of Winona."
This is the first year for the event that will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Village at Winona.
There will be employees from seven Indiana wineries and eight Kosciusko County restaurants that will be on the Village's shop porches, selling their beverages and food.
People can purchase a commemorative wine-tasting glass for $15 or a food tasting bracelet for $7, discounted to $20 if both are purchased, to sample wines and hors d'oeuvres.
Those who attend also may purchase bottles or cases of wine. Proceeds from the event will support Symphony of the Lakes.
