SYRACUSE - A 17-year-old boy from Syracuse has been arrested and waived to adult court where he will face two charges of sexual deviant conduct.
Joseph Eugene Trump, 17, of 526 Prairie Drive, Syracuse, was booked into Kosciusko County Jail Thursday afternoon. His bond was set at $50,000.
He was arrested at St. Joseph County Juvenile Center, where he was taken earlier this week following an investigation by the Syracuse Police Department.
Syracuse Town Marshal Tony Ciriello said the charges resulted from a report by a Wawasee school therapist to Kosciusko County Child Protective Services.
A 14-year-old boy told the therapist Trump forced him to engage in sexual acts.
Syracuse police began its investigation Tuesday. During the investigation, it was discovered that Trump also allegedly forced a 15-year-old girl to engage in sexual acts. When questioned by police, Trump did not deny the allegations.
The alleged illegal sexual activities began around Dec. 1, Ciriello said.
