Syracuse resident Larry Rensberger, a Democrat, is seeking the State House District 22 nomination in the May 6 Democrat primary election.
This is Rensberger's second time for seeking the District seat. He ran two years ago for the seat.He said he is running for the seat because he thinks the district and Indiana deserves better and needs change.
"Our problem is not in the local government, but is in the state and federal levels," Rensberger said.
He said he is concerned with the proposed property tax plan.

He said he has been in sales all his life. He worked with Coca-Cola and then in agriculture sales. He and his wife currently own Conyer Agri Service Inc.
Rensberger is a 1957 graduate of North Webster High School. He received his bachelor's degree in business management from IPFW in 1976.
