SYRACUSE -ÊA Syracuse man is listed in critical condition at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, after a Thursday evening motorcycle accident.
Around 6 p.m. Thursday, Donald Greene, 40, of Syracuse, was riding his Harley-Davidson Sportster on CR 300E at Bowser Road when he ran off the eastern edge of the roadway, causing him to lose control of the bike.
Greene suffered head and chest injuries and was airlifted by the Samaritan Air Ambulance to Parkview Hospital. It is not known if Greene was wearing a helmet.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department was assisted at the scene by Milford Fire Department, Syracuse Fire Department, Milford EMS and Syracuse EMS.
The accident remains under investigation.
