Suicide Pact Claims Lives Of Married Couple

The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department and Coroner’s Office are currently investigating an apparent murder-suicide that happened at a mobile home park south of Warsaw.

 

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call from a concerned neighbor to check the welfare of two individuals at a mobile home trailer located at 2789 South Country Club Road.  Officers made entry at approximately 7:31 a.m. and located a 47-year-old male and a 46-year-old female deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.

 

Kosciusko County Coroner John Sadler stated that it appears from preliminary evidence at the scene that the deaths were a result of a murder-suicide.  Sadler also stated that autopsies for both individuals was beginning schedule for either this afternoon or tomorrow morning in Fort Wayne.  A lengthy suicide note left by the married couple was also located at the scene by evidence technicians.  Sadler stated that the deaths are still under investigation at this time by both agencies pending further results as well as notification of family members.
