SYRACUSE – State Representative Rebecca Kubacki announced newly elected State Republican Chairman Tim Berry will attend the fourth annual Spine Award Dinner.
The dinner is Aug. 22 at the Oakwood Inn Hilltop Conference Center in Syracuse.
“I am pleased to introduce State Republican Chairman Tim Berry to the wonderful people of Kosciusko County,” Kubacki said. “I am so proud of my community and its citizens, and look forward to developing a strong relationship with Mr. Berry.”
Berry was elected as Indiana's 54th state auditor in 2006.
He has been committed to conservative principles and pledged to keep taxpayers first.
While auditor, he cut office expenditures by 17 percent, according to information provided by Kubacki. Prior to his position as auditor, Berry served two terms as state treasurer.
In that role he earned a record $1.7 billion for Hoosiers taxpayers.
A hockey dad and lacrosse coach, Berry is active in many organizations in his community.
