A Pierceton teen-ager who was stabbed Saturday was released from a Fort Wayne hospital Monday.
Albert Clevenger, 17, of U.S. 30E, was reportedly attacked by one of three men who entered a Pierceton-area residence uninvited. Clevenger suffered a stab wound to his left pectoral area, resulting in a collapsed lung. He was treated at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, before being transferred to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Also injured during the incident was Michael Stacy of Pierceton, who attempted to come to Clevenger's aid and was struck in the neck and arm by an iron lawn ornament wielded by another man. That suspect was later located and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail. The suspect in the stabbing remains at large.
The incident occurred about 6 p.m. Saturday.
