South Bend Man Arrested For Theft From A Warsaw Business

A South Bend man was arrested for theft from a Warsaw business after a collaborative effort between law enforcement agencies.
According to a news release from the Warsaw Police Department, during the overnight hours of May 18, a lawn mower was stolen from a Warsaw business. Surveillance footage captured the suspect vehicle, hauling a trailer, enter the property and then a man exiting and loading the lawn mower before departing.
An investigation by the Indiana State Police during a traffic stop resulted in the recovery of the lawn mower in South Bend on May 28.
Jeremiah Deandre Dockery, 25, was taken into custody and extradited to the Kosciusko County Jail on Tuesday, June 9. He was booked into the jail at 10:54 a.m. Tuesday on a preliminary charge of theft with a bond set at $16,000.
There is a likelihood of additional similar charges from surrounding counties, the news release states.
