ETNA GREEN - Etna Green attorney Jay Rigdon swore in all the members of the town council at Monday's town council meeting.
Officer elections also were an order of business as former council president Eileen Hall made the motion to elect Todd Slabaugh as new council president and Keith Claassen as vice president. The motion was approved.
The council also discussed the purchasing of an emergency generator, which costs $21,932, and a severe weather siren for $5,690. The council discussed applying for a grant from the Kosciusko Community Foundation to assist in paying for the generator and siren.
Citizens now are able to pay for their utility payments by method of credit or debit card after the council voted on Wells Fargo as the provider of the services.
