SILVER LAKE – The Silver Lake Lions Club will host a free Thanksgiving meal for the community Nov. 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Silver Lake Lions Building, corner of Walnut and Harrison streets. The building is handicapped-accessible. For purchasing and scheduling purposes, the Lions ask guests to RSVP by Nov. 26. To attend this dine-in, sit-down meal, call 260-352-2923 or 574-267-5858 and advise what seating time you would prefer. Times available are 11 a.m., 11:30 a.m., noon and 12:30 p.m. There will be no carry-out meals or home deliveries this year.
