Kosciusko County Silent No More announced Hoosiers will meet on the Kosciusko County Courthouse lawn for a Taxed Enough Already Rally.
The rally will be April 17 from 10 a.m. to noon. Attendees are asked to bring "family friendly" signs. Emery McClendon, a veteran, will speak.
During this morning's meeting, Kosciusko County commissioners approved the rally to be on the courthouse lawn.
Monica Boyer, co-founder of Kosciusko County Silent No More, is encouraging people from Kosciusko County to get involved and be a part of this event.
"We have had thousands of people all across America wake up, get off the bench and get involved, but there are still those who are sitting on the sidelines," Boyer said.
She said last week, Americans watched government shove the health care bill down the throats of the American people, even though the majority opposed it, and said now Americans are angry.
Boyer said the tea rally is a peaceful way that Hoosiers can get their message out. It is a way for people to connect with each other, and know they aren't alone. For additional information on the Kosciusko County Silent No More Tea Party Rally, visit www.kosciuskosilentnomore.com
