NORTH WEBSTER – Flowfeel Films, the producers of “Welcome to Gentle Waters,” will shoot another project in the North Webster area Jan. 27 and Feb. 4. Local actors only have been cast in the film. The film is titled “Batter.” It is a story about the perfect ingredients for middle America angst. Tara, a 20-year-old daughter of two uptight parents, lives at home with her eccentric brother, according to writer and director Jessica Hardy. Tara is deciding her future while her parents battle their individual perceptions and interpretations of the world around them. In explaining the film, Hardy said viscosity is “thickness” or “internal friction.” Thus, water is “thin,” having a lower viscosity, while honey is “thick,” having a higher viscosity. Put simply, the less viscous the fluid is, the greater its ease of movement. The film will be shot by Miles Meyer, Fort Wayne filmmaker, of Miles Meyers Films. Sound production will be handled by Will Kioultzopoulos, also of Fort Wayne, and producer of the web series “Developmental Hell.” Assistant director Brent Kado is also involved. Brent is Hardy’s husband and co-owner of Flowfeel Films. The cast includes Adair Silver, Taylor White, Cindy Darr Nei, Todd Lucas, Hardy, Madison Hart, Owen Stech and Derick Gamble. Chicago talent, such as Jill Olson of Storytown Chicago, will lead art direction. Lia Gonzalez, of Wise Media Chicago, also will be on crew. The film will be entered into film festivals and screened locally upon completion.
