Posted

Three new jailers and a deputy are being introduced by the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department.

All four men began working for the law enforcement agency during the first half of the year.

The new jailer officers are:

• Robert Morrison, 55, who comes to the department with 20 years police experience. Morrison was a patrolman and detective with the Fort Wayne Police Department before retirement.

• Dennis Rudd, 27, has experience as a reserve officer with Milford Police Department.

• Brandon Hepler, 29, has taken his first job in law enforcement.

• Joining the KCSD as a deputy is William "Rocky" Goshert, who will serve as the school resource officer at Wawasee High School beginning in August. Goshert, 44, will patrol the roads of Kosciusko County until that time.

A graduate of Warsaw Community High School and Hanover University, Goshert was an Indiana State Police trooper for 21 years.

The sheriff's department is hiring additional staff for the jail in preparation to man the new facility currently under construction.
