Sexton David Shaw presented a year-end report to the Oakwood Cemetery Board of Regents Thursday, showing 209 burials in 2000.
The report indicates there were 116 males and 93 females interred in the 250-acre cemetery, with 79 being city residents and 130 non-Warsaw residents.
Retained from last year as officers were Warren Tatter, president; Bob Sandy, vice-president; and Ellen Hoffer, secretary. A two-year president's term limit was set.
Other regents are Lewis Dobbins and Trish Brown.
Sandy said he was pleased to be reappointed to the board by Warsaw Mayor Ernie Wiggins.
According to Shaw, most of the work on the chapel should be complete next month. Utility installation and the first coat of paint will be applied today.
Shaw was commended by Sandy for keeping the roads clear of snow.
Four deeds were signed.
The next cemetery board meeting will be Feb. 1 at 5 p.m. in the Maple Avenue administration building.
